The big theme was a powerful comeback in tech — led by mega-cap names. Semiconductors continued to act as leadership, while software found support and bounced right on cue.
At the same time, the Q1 leaders quietly stepped aside. Energy and staples faded into the background as capital rotated back into growth.
What really stands out is the price action.
The S&P 500 — along with most major averages and sectors — pulled off a textbook failed breakdown and reversed sharply higher. From there, we saw strong momentum thrusts off the lows that carried markets straight to new all-time highs.
The risk-on behavior is back. This is a market rewarding participation, and more importantly, rewarding exposure to the right areas.

This scan gives us a clean, no-nonsense read on the strongest and most consistent outperformers of the month.
We’re tracking just two things: how often a stock outperformed, and by how much.
In other words, we want to know how frequently a stock beats the market — as well as the magnitude of its outperformance. Simple as that.
Our team at ASC runs top-down scans daily, and with ASC Premium, you can access all our research and trade ideas risk-free.
