A big reason I want to highlight what's happening in $MSTR is because of the relative strength that got us here.
This thing was already breaking out early this year, well before Bitcoin took off. And it was breaking out well before Software finally got going.
So whether you call this a "Bitcoin stock", or whether you classify it as "Software", it doesn't actually matter. The relative strength has been there. And that's all that counts.
Can Microstrategy reach $1 Trillion in market-cap? Yes definitely.
I think it absolutely can. That is certainly the risk here.
Can Microstrategy completely blow up because of their leveraged "Bitcoin Strategy"?
Of course.
In fact, all those haters that haven't been in it and are "Value Investors" (whatever that is), can't wrap their heads around what's happening here in this stock. They're convinced the stock blows up and they'll tell anyone who's willing to listen.
That, in and of itself, is a bullish tailwind.
People say that you should combine technicals with fundamentals. I personally think that's bullshit.
I like it much more when the technicals make sense, but the funnymental people can't figure it out. I like that so much more than if I have some value people agreeing with me. That's when things never seem to work.
Momentum and relative strength. That's what we look for.
