Trend Signal Now: I went to Wharton

I went to the Wharton School of Business at PENN.

It was great.

I was there for about an hour, and then they asked me to leave.

You see, I wasn't there to take any classes. There's no way they would let me do that. Not with my SAT scores!

But I was there today for another appearance on the Behind the Markets Podcast with Jeremy Schwartz and Professor Siegel.

It was a ton of fun. Jeremy always throws me alley-oops whenever he's interviewed me, whether at an investing conference or at the SiriusXM studio at Wharton.

When in Philly, do as the Philly people do am I right?

So my pal Jeremy took me for Cheesesteaks at a place called Mama's Pizzeria.

I lived in New York City for many years, so yea I can see how a Pizza joint has some decent Cheesesteaks, especially in Philadelphia right?

But no. It gets better.

They don't even serve pizza!

They stopped making pizzas over a decade ago. That's how good the Cheesesteaks are...

Look at the size of those onions!!

I've always been a Jim's guy. Even Pat's I think is good (although the locals would argue otherwise).

But Mama's Pizzeria for Cheesesteaks is my new spot.

The crew there is fighting the good inflation fight as well, as you can see here in this 2 year old sign that's starting to fade...

Look at this menu.

Fantastic.

What a place!

And maybe they have a bit of a point on that whole inflation thing.

Did you see the Equally-weighted Energy Index close at new 10-year highs today?

This is all happening despite the price of Crude Oil down near its range lows.

The S&P600 Small-cap Index just closed at new all-time highs.

The Equally-weighted S&P500 AND the Equally-weighted Nasdaq100 both just closed at new all-time highs.

Everyone is making money in this market.
